Mafia Wars has begun its countdown to 2012. To celebrate the 2012, Zynga is giving out a Party Animal to all Mafia Wars players!

You will be able to receive your Party Animal by following the steps below:

1. Go to the Apps and Games page on Facebook(HERE)
2. Locate the Mafia Wars tab, and click on "See more requests from *insert name*"
3. Search for the request sent from "Mafia Wars"
4. Click on Accept, and it will bring you into the game to receive your Party Animal!

You will receive this popup upon following the steps above..

Due to a design flaw, which we apologize for, a limited number of players who paid to extend the City of Traverse event were inadvertently locked out. This was not an intentional element of the game. Over the course of the next few days we will identify those players who made the purchase for the extension and reopen the City of Traverse for them. In case we are not able to do this, we will provide those players with the mastery item and experience that they would have received should they have been allowed to complete the district.
